The tax department has been CEFISA’s most established department since the firm was founded in 1960. CEFISA’s tax team, which has many years of proven experience, offers ongoing and specific advisory services in tax matters.

Services in the tax department mainly include:  

• Tax and accounting advice to both individuals and legal entities, in the field of direct and indirect taxation.
• Preparation and filing of initial tax obligations and periodic declarations (monthly, quarterly and annual) of direct and indirect taxes. Declaration of assets abroad.
• Tax planning of family assets, restructuring and succession of family businesses. Advice on compliance with the requirements for accessing the specific tax benefits provided for family businesses.
• Advice on Inheritance and Gift Tax and Wealth Tax.
• General tax planning for large estates.
• Acquisition of shares or assets, corporate restructuring and reorganisation. Tax due diligence.
• Proceedings and relations with the Tax Administration, Economic-Administrative and Contentious-Administrative practice before any Court.
• Advice and defence in tax inspection and verification proceedings.
